so you were able to make the final cross with only three turns in the water (taking you down to 25 percent HP) and ending on land (with 25 percent HP)?

when you say "take a breather" does this mean "end on land?" or some other trick that involves healing in water or something?

Hey Annul - there's no trick.

I was able to make the final cross in less than four steps. By "Take a breather" I meant one needs to make one last stop on land. On L5 The Enclave, starting from the southern edge of Lake Despair, walk 2n and heal, walk 1n 1e 2n and heal, walk 3n and heal, walk 3e 1n and heal, and then finally turn around and walk 3s and heal.

Nigel's guide on the medievalands.com website, pg 32, shows the correct path.
