I don't know if this is a bug or not, but I thought the Dissipate spell was only supposed to do damage and weaken Undead creatures? For some reason I am able to use it on other monsters as well and cause them damage. I don't know what affect it has on unique types of status, but it's weird how such a spell that's meant for the Undead can be used on virtually anyone.

Is this intentional? I don't recall being able to use the spell on non-undead back in the day.

Oho, nice catch. This is probably a bug to be squashed! I never thought of trying it on non-undead targets!

An excellent find, Reginald! I'll have to add the necessary variables to allow the game to query whether the target is undead.
