Ashtrias | Aug 2, 2019 | My keyboard layout is French Canadian and there is absolutely no >slash< key to be pressed. I tried every combination possible with ctrl shift and alt and nope.. no slash. I know I can change my keyboard in windows to solve that problem but ive been using this type of display for 20 years. Thank you! |
Zoltan | Aug 2, 2019 | ALT+047 will create your forward slash ALt+092 will create your bacward slash |
ZaneDubya | Aug 24, 2019 | Ash - I sincerely apologize - it's on the program creator - that's me - to handle your keyboard setup. Unfortunately, that's also really hard to do for all the different set ups that want to play. I remember I had this exact same problem with Ultima Online players who were using an open-source UO client of mine years ago. I'll check in with a person who has continued to build on my client and see if they have figured out how to handle this issue. Maybe I will be able to come back with a fix for you. If not - again, I apologize. This is part of the problem with a small (one amateur coder) team working on a hobby project. All my best --- -- Zane |
Korr | Aug 25, 2019 | Its very kind of you to take each issue seriously! I guess I will just change my keyboard device while playing Ys. Thanks for the answer and keep on the good job, you are already doing great! :) |
ZaneDubya | Sep 14, 2019 | Hi all, I have a solution for Windows machines, but I do not have a solution for MacOS currently. Are you all using Windows? |
ZaneDubya | Oct 19, 2019 | Unfortunately, I don't have a good solution for this. I recommend switching your keyboard layout to English while playing. I know that's not a great (or even good) solution but it's all I have for now. |
