The main door to the north sections of the Aqueduct should be available to you now, Grobrak, and there's some secret doors to the east of the north side that will let you pass through to Twinion Falls, after you deal with the Master Thieves laying in wait for you. Some crystal balls will help you get to the right doors, and there's a whole second quest there to get the Cross Key, and then come back and do a set of rather mean battles before moving on to the Arena.

If you're not able to get through the door that told you defeating Aqueus was the key, then something has gone weird for you and it might be a thing you have to have Zane look into.

Oh, Silver, that's actually very interesting! I didn't consider that I can't pass through the "Come back when you have completed what needs to be done elsewhere"-door because of a glitch or error.

On the far north-eastern side of the Aqueduct, there's a bunch of "Wrong way" signs and I walked all the way to the end of each, discovering dead ends. I even checked the walls around each step along the paths and all I could find were "scratches in the wall", but no doors to enter or anything like that.

That's why this has me perplexed, haha

You're almost there, Grobrak!

The dead-ends are full of Thieves and Oozes, but one of the things that I learned about both of these games is that when the narrative notices something, like scratches, or the shards of broken crystal balls, or other such things, there's a good chance that there's smething hidden there. If you had a skill or an item that would let you see things more truly, and you were facing the right way as to notice or detect what might be hidden behind the scratches or the other things, you might find some new pathways to traverse, including the one to Twinion Falls.

(Sorry. Life got in the way and I haven't logged in for a while. Hopefully you've found the way already.)
