I think there's a bug, these brothers are not showing up and it's not allowing me to learn the spell from them to further move on.

*UPDATE*

After trying over 20 times - nothing was working. I tried dying, reinstalling the client, gaining levels and coming back. Nothing worked. I ended up going to Choronzar's Demesne and playing through until I got to funhouse. Also went back and got the Spidersilk helm. After this, I retried and the brothers finally showed up. Im not sure what fixed it

That entire area is absolutely a mess. I ended up having a bear of a time trying to get the game to let me through the room that takes you to the Spirit Bottle.

It is beatable, though. I was able to get the Jester Hat. But it took a while. However, I seem to be blocked out from getting the Easter Egg. It is obtainable! If you can still get a few Priceless Bars, I would really appreciate it.

Yea, I can't get through the door that supposed to say "Ennui" according to the FAQ. The door has a stone tablet that is just blank. I tried dying and coming back but it's still the same

I remember something about this, but it was a year ago when I tried... Dying was my solution - that's how I got the Ogress to appear, IIRC, and I believe it worked with the Ennui door. There was something that stopped the door from opening, though, and I can't remember what it was. I'll look through the code real quick and see if I can figure something out. :/

I put in a trouble shooting message back when I went through it ("Funhouse is acting strange") that describes this problem. It's on Page 3 of Bugs. I mentioned that "FnEvent2F" is acting weird, which is the code for the Ennui door. I mention having to die "again" to get it working after something rebroke things.

Which I know, for this area, is tons of fun.

EDIT: Just tried to go through it myself. Yeah... those Praetorian Guards are miserable. Often over 8,000 HP damage a round - I can't out-heal them even with a healing based set up. I don't remember it being that awful before.

Yeah, I tried dying a few times, leaving the area, doing some previous quests, and gaining some levels and then coming back and it's still not working.

I noticed those Praetorian Guards have 2 types. There's the ones that do 8k cripples, and the ones that do 2-3k cripples. Just depends on your luck which ones you get. Luckily I have a heal build that heals for 8k!

Glad to see you figured out Healing Power is the sleeper power. I also have 160+ Healing Power. Pretty much required for soloing this game.
