Variances from Tigers walkthrough from actual gameplay

I will try and note any differences I discovered from Tiger's guide posted on the Medieval lands web site from that I found in the dungeon. Might even save your life. Unless I note a discepancy, Tiger's guide is correct. I also referred to Sue Medley's guide on the same site for coordinates.

Cyclops Mine Key - He seemed to have posted the same map 3 times. The first two maps are correct in that you have to go to castlegate (Or follow the instructions in his guide to open the portal to castlegate) and then follow the second map to Level 10, the elf villages You proceed from the place you enter the elf villages at O11 to the teleport at I16 which takes you to L 11 the Dwarf Kingdom. You have to use the Sunbeam key in L11 to unlock the door at F13. This opens up the map to the west. The Cyclops Mine key is at I6

Seasons Quest - in the guide, it says you can't start seasons until Golden Autumn Leaves fall from the Albdora tree. However in this version of the game you can start if its summer.

Arnakkian's Quest and the Blue Gem. I found that when I was doing the fights with Arnakkian's guards in the square (Last map in the guide), I actully had to fight 5 fights starting clockwise from the NW corner. (So you fight that fight twice) you then enter the middle from the top and not the left side

Final Quest - Placing the Gems and golden boat. I found his information to be inaccuarate and possibly plunging you into the gorge. So you do follow his instuctions for clicking on the gems however after clicking on the blue gem you DO NOT go one step south and one step west. After you click on the Blue gem, you then click on the golden boat and having done that, take one step forward to cross the chasm.

Harvest Horn - Wrong maps. He posted the maps for the blue metal. So what you want to do is go to Castlegate (See his instructions for to to get there) From Castlegate which is L9 Labyrinth IV coordiante L7, travel to the teleporter at L16. That will take you to Coordinate L16 in map L8 Labyrinth III. Make your way south to E 15 where you will fight for the harvest horn

War Hammer of Doom and Kite Shield. Slightly off. I found that when you got to map L8 Labyrinth III, you should actually travel to map coordinate O2 face east and then proceed straight ahead to O10 which is where those items are located.

Final Quest L11 Rivers End. - This one purplexed me. Tiger has you travelling to coordinate L10 and going through a door to the south. I tried it three times and could not find any door. Instead I went from coordinates M9 to M13, healed and then went from M13 to J14, Healed. The from J14 to G13, Healed. G13 to F14, F14 to H16 and then picked up the map again.

These are great finds, thank you G2G. Would someone be interested in fixing up the maps/text if I could provide the source documents and images?

I don't have any special software and am not sure what would be required to update the guides in the same format (I.E the yellow lines on the maps). I can give it a try once the ability to flee is implemented.

I would need to retrace each path in the dungeon before updating any maps and I need to be able to move fairly quickly.

G2G - I can provide you the original document in word format and the maps in bitmap format - you could edit those in microsoft paint, I think.

You should find that fleeing comes much easier with the latest patch.
