what skill level is every color lock there is green tellow orange red blue purple which is best in order

green, yellow, red, purple, blue IIRC. I don't know their actual levels, but a good way to judge is start green at +2 lockpick, then add +2 for each one. Blue lockpick is the best in the game. Once you get your lockpick skill, and train to level 10+, then you won't need any standard lockpicks.

Random, but you can gain the Lockpick skill, and a few other thief skills, in the Thieves Den.
