How fast do you think you could defeat King Cleowyn's Ghost? Arnakkian? Reach the game's end?

To answer this question - and to provide a new way to play games on MedievaLands - I am opening up the Hall of Records today. As part of the Hall of Records feature, the game now collects and reports on speed running records. Any newly created character is eligible to participate in speed runs.

My thought has always been that it would take hours to reach Cleowyn. I've been somewhat awestruck at how quickly this particular goal can be reached. The Hall of Records is currently configured to keep the records of the top fastest twenty record-holders, so I encourage you to give it a try as well.

This feature is brand new so it may well have bugs. Please report any you find on the bulletin boards or on the github repository (click 'Bugs' on the MedievaLands website to reach the repo).

I am very much looking forward to some friendly competition here.

It should be no surprise to you (or anyone who knows me) that I am super excited for some new things to work on. I think this is a great addition, and for some of us who have played this game to death it adds a new layer to consider - especially for guilds to work on together!
