A mobile client?

I have no idea how easy/tough it is, and all the complications involved, but a mobile port would be great.

Might liven up at the Tavern, being more accessible.

Hail FiZ! I hope you're enjoying your time down in the dungeon.

The tavern is admittedly is a bit quiet these days (albeit more active than it had been prior to 2019). I have been inviting the community to come back and play as a group twice a year; please make sure you've signed up for email updates so I can reach you! You'll find this in the account screen from the gallery.

You're right that a mobile client would bring new complications. The most difficult thing from a development perspective would be the design and implementation of a new set of UI components for smaller screens. But I also worry about putting a property which I don't own on a public storefront. I don't have the right to do that, even though I don't think that the current rightsholders would be too interested in enforcing their rights.

ZaneD, as part of the Meridian59 open sourcing, we reached out to the Kirmses and were able to secure rights for open source usage. Any chance the Ybarra's would be open to the same kind of thing?

Hey Geo - thanks for that information, and nice work on the M59 project!

In all honestly I am unsure who owns the Yserbius IP. I do not think it is Joe Ybarra.

Based on the initial copyright assignment to Sierra On-Line and the series of acquisitions of INN to AT&Tand then to AOL, and of AOL to Verizon, which was spun off to Oath and then spun back as Verizon Media Group... my best guess is that Verizon Media (a division of Verizon Communications) is the current rights holder. But this is just a guess.

If you have any thoughts or would like to discuss further, please reach out to me by email to hello(at)medievalands.com, or on discord at ZaneDubya#8017.

Take care!
